Final Executive Board and CET Meeting The EUNCL Executive Board and CET met at MedTech Europe in Brussels to arrange the last steps before closure of the project. An important and well-prepared discussion point was the way forward to ensure that the strong collaboration of partners will lead to a successful continuation of the service offered to start-ups and companies.
EUNCL at CRS Annual Meeting in Valencia EUNCL was invited to present in Valencia, Spain at the 46th Controlled Release Society Annual Meeting & Exposition! Held in the Palacio de Congresos de València from July 21st-24th, this premier event spoted a powerful lineup of presenters including Nobel Laureates, Academic powerhouses and Industry game changers celebrating the progress in the areas of bioengineering, drug delivery, material science, pharmaceutics, consumer and diversified products, and veterinary science.
Last General Assembly met in Stoos, Switzerland 23. - 24. May 2019 The project’s last General Assembly took place under the motto ‘overview, impact and forecast’. The Work Package leader presented a pre-final report on their respective WPs, recapitulating the tasks accomplished during the last 3,5 years of the project’s runtime.

EUNCL ExBo Meeting in Liverpool The EUNCL ExBo met on 22nd and 23rd November 2018 at University of Liverpool to discuss the actual status of the work in the project and especially in the TNA. The CET and TNA management updated the ExBo on the on-going and the further work planned. The discussion on all questions raised during the meeting was very extensive and important decisions were taken for the last year of the project duration.
CLINAM 2018 with EUNCL Participation It was the 11th Summit of its kind. CLINAM again welcomed the participants from the community of nanomedicine, targeted drug delivery and precision medicine and bring together the pioneers and worldwide opinion leaders, not only to learn and discuss but also to develop new ideas, create new collaborative projects and shape the future of medicine.
Trainee position at JRC (5 months) The Consumer Products Safety Unit (F.2), part of Health, Consumers and Reference Materials Directorate-F at the JRC in Ispra (Italy), is looking for a trainee for the Nanobiotechnology laboratory.
European Nanocharacterization laboratory (EUNCL) meets in Münster Three years ago, EUNCL was funded as starting community by the European H2020 program with the goal to increase the safety of new nano-based medical products. The representatives and experts from all over Europe met in Münster on May 24th to discuss about the progress in establishing the reference laboratory they set up for the last 3 years and its further development beyond 2019. The partners located in Münster are the only German party involved in EUNCL.
Seeking a Formulation Scientist The Nanotechnology Characterization Lab (NCL) provides nanotechnology formulation and characterization services for universities, the pharmaceutical industry and other government programs. Since our founding in 2004, the NCL has characterized more than 400 different nanomedicines for more than 100 organizations worldwide. We are currently seeking a Formulation Scientist to join our team. Those having experience with liposomes, micelles, and emulsions are especially encouraged to apply.

EUNCL General Assembly The EUNCL Partners, Third Parties, Satellite Labs and External Advisory Board met for the second Annual Meeting of the EUNCL project. EUNCL partner TCD organized the meeting in Dublin, Ireland from 31 May – 2 June 2017.
BIOMS represented EUNCL at Labvolution 2017 LABVOLUTION got off to a fine start and is on the right track for the future. That sums up the outcome of the European trade fair dedicated entirely to innovative lab equipment and lab workflow optimization.
EUNCL at CLINAM 2017 It was the 10th Summit of its kind. The CLINAM Foundation used this Jubilee to present a programme with strong focus on the route of nanomedicine to successful clinical applications in targeted and precision medicine and related fields, to discuss critically common bottlenecks based on the 10-years’ experience of our broad international expert community.
EUNCL at CLINAM In the previous eight years, the CLINAM Summit grew to the largest in its field with 12 presenting Noble Laureates and more than 500 participants from academia, industry, regulatory authorities and policy from over 40 countries in Europe and worldwide.

EUNCL present at EU-US workshop on H2020 A delegation from EUNCL has been invited to attend an EU-US workshop on H2020, the European Union's main instrument for funding research and innovation activities from 2014 to 2020. Horizon 2020 focuses on three overarching priorities – excellent science, industrial leadership and societal challenges and is open to participants from anywhere in the world.
